TitleDomain Road Vineyard is located in the heart of the historic gold mining area of Bannockburn, Central Otago. Much of the dramatic Bannockburn landscape was created by miners with their gold sluicing activities in the second half of the 19th century. Entire hillsides were washed away in the pursuit of gold, shaping the land surrounding the Domain Road vineyard. It is a dramatic sight, backed by the heights of the Carrick Range and Garvey Mountains. Bannockburn is now home to some of the most significant vineyards and wineries in Central Otago.
